Virtual Meeting Check List
In, the event you decide to move all or some of your event to the virtual space, we’ve put together a checklist to help you prepare.
Vendor
Find a trusted partner. It’s important to partner with vendors that can work with you to come up with the best event for your needs. Most events don’t fit in a standard box, especially virtual events. The right team can make all the difference.
Agenda
The format your agenda takes determines many other facets of your event. Including things like multiple keynote speakers, panel discussions, and interactive breakout sessions, have a large impact on the scope and scale of your whole project.
Interactivity
How much involvement will you audience have with the event? Will everyone need to provide input during the event? How and when you interact with your attendees matters!
Live or Pre-Recorded
Or even a mix of both!
Live streaming offers more immediate engagement with your attendees while recording allows for confidence in a perfect performance. A combination of live steaming and recorded content allows for a wide variety of options and a more tailored experience for participants.
Location
The options are (almost) endless! Going virtual opens up smaller venues, in-house spaces or preset studios that otherwise would not be available for events with high attendee counts. Consider all the options before making a venue selection!
Audience
Will this event be public or private? Is it for 10 people or 10,000? The size and type of your audience will greatly inform which is the best platform for your virtual event.
When?
Selecting the right date for your event is important. Work with your trusted technology partner to minimize overlaps with similar events and avoid crowded dates that can strain resources and lower attendance.
